Nandome Aozora ka?

At the edge of the schoolyard, reflecting light
Was a water tap someone forgot to turn off
Things important to us
Always seem to flow past
I covered my ears in the wind

And in a corner of my heart, too
There's something that's been left running
Though I realized that yes, I can't just leave it like this
I pretended I didn't see it

In this great expanse of time
I have the opportunity to do anything
The freedom is there

How many blue skies have there been?
Too many to count, I think
The sun sets and rises again
Every day unchanging
We forget something
How many blue skies have there been?
Don't let youth pass you by
Even if you live in daydreams
Try looking up once in a while
(At the clear sky)
Don't let who you are now go to waste

When I tried touching the water from the tap
The icy coldness opened my eyes
In the sheet of water spraying up
The life I've been given
Became heavy in my hands

Even if you think in your mind
"I'll do it someday"
Eternity is short

How many blue skies have there been?
Too many to count, I think
The sun sets and rises again
Every day unchanging
We forget something
How many blue skies have there been?
Don't let youth pass you by
Even if you live in daydreams
Try looking up once in a while
(At the clear sky)
Don't let who you are now go to waste

If you close your eyes
You might be able to hear
The sound of what's still on in you
Neither ourselves nor the skies are always sunny

I don't know when
The next blue sky will be
That's why I'm looking up right now, starting something
Something I can do today...
The next time the sky is blue
You might notice it yourself
Even if your tears are overflowing
The sun won't be crying
(If you really look)
You'll become stronger

I'm alive right now
(Though time is flowing)

I won't wash away
